Building a more competitive and sustainable Europe requires companies to take an active part in shaping the policies that will define the continent's future. It was in this context that Enbiente's CEO, João Salgado, represented Portugal at the European Parliament of Enterprises 2025 — an initiative that brought together hundreds of business leaders from across Europe at the European Parliament to debate the European Union's main economic and strategic challenges.

Throughout the session, fundamental topics such as the decarbonisation of the economy, industrial competitiveness, access to investment and the strengthening of the European single market were discussed. The event's participatory model allowed representatives of Europe's business community to contribute directly to the debate, sharing the perspective of those who face the challenges of innovation, the energy transition and economic development every day.
