Open Day DEE 2024

Bringing academia and the business sector closer together is essential to prepare the professionals who will lead the energy transition. It was in that spirit that we took part in the Electrical Engineering Open Day DEE 2024, an initiative organised by the Electrical Engineering Department of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu.

Throughout the event, we welcomed hundreds of students and lecturers to our stand, where we presented some of the solutions we develop in the fields of energy and sustainability. Our participation also featured a talk by our CEO, João Salgado, on self-consumption and electric mobility, encouraging knowledge-sharing and reflection on the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition.

More than showcasing technology, we set out to inspire future engineers and show them how innovation can have a positive impact on the way we produce, manage and consume energy.

It was a privilege to contribute to this initiative and to strengthen our ties with higher education, bringing students closer to the reality of the market and fostering the development of talent in a field that matters more and more to the future.
