Challenge

In a quiet home in inland Portugal, the owner sought more than just energy savings. They wanted independence, sustainability, and the security of a system capable of keeping pace with the future.

Daily energy consumption was stable, but complete reliance on the grid limited autonomy and made energy management unpredictable. Additionally, the demand for smart solutions with integrated backup and efficient storage required cutting-edge technology and a robust installation.

The need was clear: to transform a conventional home into a space capable of producing, storing, and managing its own energy, reducing costs while enhancing daily comfort and resilience.

Solution

Enbiente developed a pioneering residential solution, integrating the first Fronius Reserva battery installed in Portugal, creating a fully autonomous, secure, and completely digital energy system.

Solar Production – 9 × 505 W Modules
Nine high-efficiency photovoltaic modules were installed, providing the renewable energy foundation and ensuring clean energy throughout the year.

Fronius GEN24 Plus 4.0 Inverter – Hybrid and Future-Ready
The Fronius GEN24 Plus offers hybrid functionality, allowing direct connection to the battery system and advanced emergency modes. This flagship equipment manages production, consumption, and backup in an integrated manner.

Fronius Reserva 6.3 kWh Battery – First in Portugal
The integration of the Fronius Reserva represents a milestone in the national market. The battery stores surplus energy, enhances autonomy, and ensures continuous supply even during grid failures. The solution is fully scalable and ready to grow with the client’s needs.

Intelligent Energy Management – Estimated 90% Annual Self-Consumption
The coordination of production, battery, and consumption achieves a very high self-consumption rate. Monitoring is handled via the Solar.web platform, providing full control over the installation, intuitive alerts, and detailed performance analysis.

Complete Backup in Case of Grid Failure
The system guarantees continuous supply during blackouts, protecting essential equipment and ensuring comfort and safety.

The result is a home that is more autonomous, efficient, and future-ready, where energy is no longer an unpredictable cost but a resource fully controlled by the homeowner.
