MO Cozinhas photovoltaic project: solar energy driving efficiency and sustainability

MO Cozinhas, a Portuguese company specialising in the manufacture, installation and sale of kitchens, wardrobes and bathrooms, has taken a decisive step towards the energy transition with the installation of a 27.20 kWp solar photovoltaic system.

The project, developed by Enbiente, strengthens the company’s commitment to energy efficiency, cost reduction and environmental sustainability.

With the new solar PV plant, the system is expected to produce 7,175 MWh of green energy over its useful life.

An annual yield of 38% ensures strong performance and reliability, allowing around 36% of the building’s energy needs to be supplied by solar energy.

Savings and positive environmental impact

Thanks to the installed system, MO Cozinhas is expected to:

• Reduce monthly electricity costs by 29%;
• Avoid the emission of 335 tonnes of CO₂;
• Offset the equivalent of 11,150 trees planted over the system’s lifetime.
