At Enbiente, sustainability is not just a trend. It is at the centre of our identity and purpose.
With this purpose, we formalised our application to the United Nations Global Compact, strengthening our commitment to social, environmental and business ethics.
What is the United Nations Global Compact?
The Global Compact is a UN initiative that encourages companies and organisations to adopt sustainable and socially responsible practices.
Its purpose is to promote a more inclusive, ethical and sustainable global market, fostering cooperation between companies, unions, NGOs, academic institutions and public entities.
By joining, companies commit to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universal principles covering Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
The ten principles
The principles cover respect for human rights, protection against abuses, freedom of association, elimination of forced and child labour, non-discrimination, a precautionary approach to environmental challenges, greater environmental responsibility, sustainable technologies and the fight against corruption.
Who can join?
The Global Compact is open to companies of all sectors and sizes, civil society organisations, business associations, labour organisations, academic institutions and public entities.
Enbiente’s commitment
With this application, Enbiente reaffirms its active role in building a fairer, more sustainable and responsible future.
We align our actions with the Sustainable Development Goals and the universal principles of the Global Compact, strengthening transparency, ethics and sustainability across every dimension of the business.
We want this decision to inspire other companies and institutions to do the same. Sustainability is a collective journey.
