Enbiente will once again be present at RE+ Portugal 2026, one of the main events dedicated to the energy transition, energy storage and innovation in Portugal’s electricity sector.
The event takes place on 20 May at Alfândega do Porto and will once again feature João Salgado, CEO of Enbiente, as moderator of one of the conference’s thematic panels.
For the second consecutive year, RE+ Events invited João Salgado to lead a debate session, reinforcing Enbiente’s connection to the strategic themes currently transforming the Portuguese energy market.
This year’s panel is titled “The Future of Flexibility in the Portuguese Energy Market” and will bring together three specialists connected to energy flexibility, asset aggregation, intelligent energy management and electricity consumption optimisation:
- Raul Moreira, Business Development Manager at Symphonics
- João Pereira, Project Manager at Bamboo Energy
- Pedro Rocha Almeida, Business Unit Manager at Smart Energy Lab
Energy flexibility has been taking on an increasingly relevant role in the evolution of the European electricity system. Topics such as energy storage, aggregation of small assets, demand response, energy communities and behind-the-meter optimisation are at the centre of the sector’s transformation.
At the same time, the growth of renewable generation and the need to balance the electricity grid are accelerating the development of new business models linked to energy flexibility in Portugal and across the Iberian market.
The debate promoted by RE+ Portugal 2026 aims to analyse the challenges, opportunities and future outlook of this market, at a time when different operators and technologies are competing for the same space of value.
The panel takes place on 20 May at 11:45, in Infante Hall, Floor 2 of Alfândega do Porto.
With this participation, Enbiente reinforces its active presence in the main discussions on energy storage, energy transition and technological innovation in Portugal’s energy sector.
Enbiente thanks RE+ Events for the invitation and for the opportunity to once again take part in one of the most relevant discussion moments at RE+ Portugal 2026.
